Fans from Britain, Italy and Belgium marked the Heysel tragedy in which 39 soccer fans died with the unveiling of a statue, a poem and solemn tributes. In European soccer's worst violence, 33 fans from Juventus Turin and six others died when rioting instigated by Liverpool hooligans broke out in the decrepit stands of the Heysel stadium just ahead of the 1985 Champions League final between the Italian and English champions. Scarf says:'Not to be forgotten'. (AP Photo/Yv - 2PE4X28 from Alamy's library of millions of high resolution stock photos, illustrations and vectors.
