DHS grads talk, motivate, eat … and celebrate, News

Davis High School’s Class of 2016 filed into Ron and Mary Brown Stadium on Friday to a rendition of “Pomp and Circumstance” performed by members of the DHS band ensembles. It was the coolest day of the week so far, and the air was comfortable with a light breeze. Principal Will Brown addressed the seniors and an audience that nearly filled the field and bleacher seating. He spoke about senior Sarina Buchanan and the obstacles she overcame in her time at DHS, and suggested that students look to their mothers for encouragement and helpful criticism.
