Margaret "Peggy" Harmon 80, departed this earthly life on Tuesday June 25, 2019In Greensboro. She was born February 20, 1939 in Rowan Co . to the late AmbroseSharpe, III and Francine Witt Fair.She was educated in the public schools of Rowan Co. and attended J.C. Price HighSchool and was employed with Celenese and retired after 20 years of service withthe company.She was a member Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Salisbury where she served with the UsherMinistry, Golden Links and the Senior Missionary Ministries. In addition to her parentsshe was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonso Love Harmon, sisters, BessieDunham, Christine Sharpe.She leaves precious and loving memories to her children, Sandra Sharpe, Waldorf, MD;Michelle Spears(Samuel), Charlotte, Mya Harmon, Greensboro, Richard Sharpe(Loretta),Charlotte, Anthony Harmon, Sr. (Pamela), Salisbury, Steven Ewing, Greensboro, sisters,Shirley Sharpe and Donna Sharpe both of Salisbury, eighteen grandchildren, eighteengreat grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousinsother relatives and friends.
