Daimler's Smart brand has been absent from the American market since the end of 2019. After dropping the combustion-powered Smart ForTwo and subsequently only offering tiny city-focused EVs, the brand simply didn't fit in with what Americans wanted. But it seems it's not just America, but the world, that isn't entirely happy with what Smart has been producing, as the automaker has now dropped its biggest model from its global lineup.
