Evil Ash is the demented "dark aspect" of Ash Williams created in the 14th Century. While initially thought destroyed by his human counterpart, Evil Ash was resurrected to lead an army of Deadites during a siege on Castle Kandar in an attempt to acquire the Necronomicon for their own nefarious purpose.
